Thoenn Glover, MPT
Thoenn’s goal as a Physical Therapist is to help you find more freedom in your body, with less pain and more confidence.
Thoenn gets excited about the opportunity to problem solve and unpack an injury to get at the root cause. She believes that it is never too late to start the journey of optimizing physical function and improving health, whether you are a dedicated athlete or taking the first steps to address your health.
Thoenn has dedicated her life to human movement, first through a career in professional dance and now as Physical Therapist and outdoor enthusiast. She is a dedicated rock climber and runner, and can also be seen cycling, out backcountry skiing, and trekking in the mountains. Thoenn brings a wealth of first-hand movement experience to her evidence-based rehabilitation practice. She received her Physical Therapy education (MScPT) at the University of Alberta and holds an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University in Dance with a minor in Kinesiology.
Sessions with Thoenn will include combination of hands-on manual therapy treatment techniques and exercise-based active rehabilitation. She will take the time to tailor your recovery program to suit your unique needs and preferences, including inter-disciplinary referrals as required. Thoenn is also a certified Pelvic Health therapist and can treat a variety of pelvic health concerns including pre-natal/post-partum care, urinary incontinence, and pelvic pain.
Thoenn’s commitment to her patients is to listen closely, be creative, educate, and encourage autonomy over one’s own health journey.
